ALL proceeds will be sent to Metrofratenidad (RUC: 1790850234001), a private non-profit foundation that provides free medical assistance to low-income patients in Ecuador. Currently, the organization is working on numerous projects in Manabí, the most affected province of the country. They are opening medical centers and offering assistance to people in need. The foundation is also transporting people in critical condition so they can be properly treated in the capital, Quito. Additionally, Metrofraternidad is collecting and delivering medical supplies to aid communities that were affected by the earthquake, helping prevent the spread of lethal diseases such as Dengue, Chikunguña, and Zika Virus.

 

About Metrofraternidad:

 

Metrofraternidad Foundation began its activities in 1986 with the goal of providing free medical assistance to low income patients. The foundation is supported by one of the largest and most recognized hospitals in Ecuador, the Hospital Metropolitano. The hospital offers the foundation its infrastructure and services, personnel, and technology for free so they can carry out their mission. This hospital has an ISO 9001 certification, and is both a member of the Medical Tourism Association (MTA), and the Joint Commission International (JCT).

Metrofraternidad has partnered with Lions Club International, the World Health Organization, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and many other organizations throughout the years to work in a variety of charity projects in Ecuador.
